Drivers Welfare Mass Transit Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited is a duly registered cooperative society established under the provisions of the Akwa Ibom State Cooperative Societies Law.
The Society activities is supervised by Directorate, Bureau of Rural Development and Cooperatives Akwa Ibom State and governed by a Board of Ten (10) Trustees and operates through a democratic cooperative framework in accordance with applicable cooperative laws and regulations.
The Society was formally registered on 18 November 2018 under Cooperative Registration AK 23474 together with its Government-approved Bye-Laws.

Vehicles operated by members of the Society are clearly identified through the display of the Society's official name, logo and approved identification markings.
The Society maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards reckless driving, misconduct, criminal activity, substance abuse and any conduct capable of endangering public safety.
